Phased array UT is used throughout aerospace for bond line inspection in composite structures, weld integrity verification in fuselage skins and pressure vessels, and fatigue crack detection in structural forgings. The OmniScan MX2 is the industry-standard PAUT portable instrument — 16:64 PR configuration, full waveform capture, S-scan and E-scan display, integrated ToFD capability.
